Ebenezer United Methodist Church
Founded 1838 - Sharing God's Love Through Service
Thanks to contributions from the United Methodist Women, the United Methodist Men, the Church Council and individual contributions, 80 Health Kits were assembled for the June 2019 Virginia Annual Conference.
Throughout the year, members of Ebenezer are busy making prayer quilts for those that are dealing with a serious illness. When it is not feasible for the individual receiving a quilt to attend our worship service, one of our members delivers the quilt in person and explains its significance.
Almost every year, Ebenezer contributes in some way to shoe boxes filled with gifts of love for Operation Christmas Child. A small shoebox lets these children know that someone really cares and It can teach them about the love of God.
In December 2022, Ebenezer purchased fifty children's winter coats and delivered them to Westmoreland County Social Services for distribution to our area children. This is an annual act of kindness made possible by the United Methodist Men, the Church Council and individual contributions.
